You can choose water heater according to the domestic hot water needs – from 100 to 300 liters capacity. Designed for use in heat pump systems – features a large heat exchanger (up to 3 m2). The drinking water tank is made of stainless steel. This prevents corrosion and keeps the hot water clean for a long time.

Thermal insulation

-is an essential factor that ensures heat retention and energy efficiency.

All Norwian hot water heaters, regardless of the model, are externally covered with 50 mm  PPU (solid polyurethane) closed-cell foam insulation .

For additional protection of the thermal insulation against physical damage and for the aesthetic appearance of the boiler, an outer shell of galvanized tin is installed.

Safety

Hygiene standards  regarding the safe supply of drinking water establish that for the prevention of legionellosis, the water temperature in the building’s hot water system should be 50-60 °C, if necessary, it must be possible to increase the hot water temperature in the water heater to 66 °C at any time. Norwian heat pumps prepare hot water up to 75 °C. and the electric heater* installed in the boiler allows you to adjust the hot water temperature immediately if needed.

  • Easy installation and simple maintenance
*Many households and businesses use drinking water softening systems. The softener uses salts that bacteria love (in themselves harmless to humans). Enamelled heaters use soluble magnesium anodes to protect them from corrosion. Since magnesium corrodes faster than steel, magnesium anodes take over the corrosion process, thus protecting the boiler. Doing this work causes the magnesium anodes to dissolve over time. When dissolving, the anode causes a side effect – it releases a small amount of hydrogen from the water. Which is converted into hydrogen sulfide gas by the aforementioned sulfur bacteria. The internal tanks and heat exchangers of Norwian water heaters are made of stainless steel. Therefore, magnesium anodes are unnecessary and the possibility of bad odors is completely eliminated.
